Each Spring, the Los Angeles public history community gathers
for a gala free event celebrating historic preservation, education and
connection: Los Angeles Heritage Day at Pico House in Olvera Street.
This year there's something new on the schedule. 7 Days in L.A. is the first
consortium of independent tour companies and solo guides who actually want
you to check out the other guy or gal's tour. Since the summer 2011 launch,
the one-stop website calendar featuring the most interesting guided bus,
car, hiking and walking tours in Los Angeles has made America's second
largest city a lot easier to navigate--and a lot friendlier.
The 7 Days in L.A. table will be a must-visit at L.A. Heritage Day on April
14. Special treats include:
