New York, NY - Limp Bizkit's first single for Cash Money Records,"Ready to Go" featuring Lil Wayne, debuted strong this week on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart and Rock Albums Chart. Upon its digital release, it hit at #4 on both respective charts. However, given the fervor surrounding the track, it climbed up the Rock Songs Chart to #1 where it held strong for two days. Currently, it's at #3.
The Grammy Award-nominated multiplatinum Florida titans-Fred Durst [vocals], Wes Borland [guitars], Sam Rivers [bass], and John Otto [drums]-uphold the hallmarks of their trademark sound with"Ready to Go". Coupled with production from Polow da Don [Pitbull, Chris Brown], warped, wild guitars give way to danceable boots and a throbbing bass line as vocalist Fred Durst and Cash Money Recordsbrother Lil Wayne step in the ring and go rhyme-for-rhyme. It's the perfect one-two punch of hard rock and hip-hop.
Also, it's planted the foundation for the release of their seventh full-length album, Stampede of the Disco Elephants, out later this summer.
The band kicks off a very special intimate club tour next Thursday April 24 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Many of the dates have already sold out, and they just added a show in West Hollywood at the House of Blues May 24.
Limp Bizkit is back, and they're "Ready to Go" like never before.
