From warehouse parties in Providence and Brooklyn, to performances at the Natural History Museum and The Whitney, "bi-coastal sound scavengers" (XLR8R) and cousins George Langford and Tom Van Buskirk have released their first traditional "studio album," the followup to their acclaimed debut, No Más. While their pastiche pop aesthetic is still present, Hi Beams' prominent vocal harmonies and clear-cut song structures mark a departure for the duo. The new material is designed to be more easily performed live, making their renowned shows even better.

Javelin has toured with Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, Future Islands, Matt & Kim, Warpaint, Major Lazer, and performed at Lollapalooza, as well as parties across the US, Europe, and South America.
The duo has put its distinctive touch on tracks for Cee-Lo, Warpaint, Future Islands, Darwin Deez and HEALTH and done production work for hip-hop moguls and pop divas. They were one of Flavorpill's 'SXSW Favorite Discoveries' last year, and are on a coast-to-coast tour throughout the summer.
