5:30 pm RT N' the 44's

RT N' THE 44s is a Folk Noir band created by singer/songwriter RT Valine. Founded in 2009, the band originated in Los Angeles, CA alongside local bands Leslie and the Badgers, Spindrift, Gwendolyn (artist), and Ruthann Friedman. Using instruments crafted from tin, 2x4's and salvaged parts, RT has stated that RT N' THE 44s was born out of "an attempt to make listenable music from junk". They have been described as a "vintage country band with dark obsessions"www.rtnthe44s.com/

6:30 pm  From Dallas, TX Ronnie Fauss!

The Dallas-based singer-songwriter announced his arrival on the scene with a string of EPs in 2009 & 2010 (New Songs for the Old Frontier, I Can’t Make You Happy, Mulligan) that provided rough sketches of an artist stomping around in space until solid ground appeared beneath his feet. On I Am The Man You Know I’m Not, a gifted bare bones storyteller has emerged, singing in warm, personal tones accentuated by flourishes of electric guitars, fiddles, organs, and steel guitars.  ronniefauss.com

7:30 pm  The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers

The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers began as a collective of friends getting together in the summer of 2010. A choir of up to 15 revived the old gospel spirit with songs like “I Shall Not Be Moved”, “12 Gates”, and “In My Time of Dying”. Slowly they evolved to a band of 8, committed to keeping the spirit of gospel music alive. Influenced by both past gospel musicians such as The Dixie Hummingbirds, Washington Phillips and Sister Rosetta Tharpe as well as current bands like The Black Keys, Wilco, and Calexico, the band is creating a unique style of blues, indie rock, folk, and bluegrass. Some of the band’s favorite things include banjos, kickdrums, hand clappin’, foot stompin’, and sing-alongs.
