The International Swingers to tour west coast

The International Swingers, heavyweights of rock and roll, are swinging in the U.S.A. with a west coast tour kicking off May 17, 2013 at the Viper Room in West Hollywood, Calif. Clem Burke (Blondie), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols/Rich Kids/The Faces), James Stevenson (Generation X/The Alarm/Gene Loves Jezebel), Gary Twinn(Supernaut/Twenty Flight Rockers) make up this supergroup of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and veterans of rock and roll. Performing music from their iconic bands, The International Swingers will delight fans with live performances of songs from each player's catalog in addition to newly recorded material consistent to the genre from which they emerged. New tunes "F B I,” "Live Wire,” "Fire Brigade,” and the controversial song "Gun Control” have received repeated airplay on KROQ's Rodney Bingenheimer's "Rodney on the Roq” radio show.  The first 10 lucky people entering the venue will receive The International Swingers EP of new tunes. Fans can also sign up on The International Swingers mailing list at the show to receive a limited edition collector International Swingers pin. Limited edition "Gun Control Tour 2013” t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
