Beatallica live Facebook chat April 16

April 16th will see the release of Beatallica's third full-length album overall, 'Abbey Load,' via Oglio Records (a label that is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year). Imagine what 'Abbey Road' would sound like if it was written and recorded by Metallica, and you have 'Abbey Load.' And to celebrate on the same date, two of its members will chat with fans online via Facebook - Kliff McBurtney will be chatting between 12:00pm-1:00pm CST, while Jaymz Lennfield will be chatting between 6:00-7:00pm CST.

The chat will take place via the group's official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Beatallica), and fans will be able to ask questions about 'Abbey Load,' including where it was recorded, how the band came up with song list and structure, how they choose songs to include, and of course, questions about past albums/songs. Also, Kliff will be up for discussing specific tablature questions.

About.com has called Beatallica "A fun and well done homage to a couple of great bands," while the Sea of Tranquility site said it was "Some good clean, campy fun," and the Anti Music site described it as "A quaint excursion from the no-fun metal songs that are curdling your milk right now."

"Beatallica is so much more than a novelty cover band," adds Oglio Records founder Carl Caprioglio. "Beatallica's members and producer are among the most creative and talented people I have encountered in my years with Oglio Records. Their ability to blend influences from these two legendary bands is as amazing and impressive today as it was when we met in 2006."

April 16th is fast approach, so be sure to mark down the date to chat live with Beatallica, and also pick up their great new release, 'Abbey Load.'
