Burn Your World to release 7-inch

Escapist Records is pleased to announce the forthcoming 7”/Digital EP release from Winnipeg hardcore outfit Burn Your World.  In recent years Canada has built a reputation for producing genuine, hard-working hardcore, punk, and metal bands - and Burn Your World is the latest in that ever-growing line.  The band’s Escapist debut, Vicious Intent, is a testament to their dedication to their music and message, and it would not be out of the question to see it placed alongside records from defining national acts likes No Warning, A Perfect Murder, Cursed, and Figure Four.

Vicious Intent was recorded at Private Ear Recording Studio (Propaghandi, Ken Mode) by Brent McCrea and mastered by Craig Boychuck; Jacob Abernathy (Withdrawal, The Black Dahlia Murder, Territory) will provide original artwork for the effort.  The vinyl version will contain three brand new songs as well as a cover of Crowbar’s “Like Broken Glass.”  Meanwhile the digital version will contain the four songs from Vicious Intent as well as the band’s previous 7” release, Forced to Hate, as bonus tracks.

An August release is currently planned for Vicious Intent, during which time Burn Your World will embark on an east coast tour of the US as well as a Canadian trek and more in the months to follow.
