Pasadena Digital History Collaboration to relaunch website

On April 21, the Pasadena Digital History Collaboration will be launching a revamped website and image database for Preservation Week.  Now it will be easier than ever to find the photo you’re searching for among the 7,000 records that are available on the PDHC database!  Our records now include Pasadena City directories, with eleven already scanned and available online.  They range in years from 1881 to 1924.

They also include the records of a new organization.  We are proud to announce the addition of a new contributing partner – the City of Pasadena’s Planning Department.  The Planning Department has added more than 100 photographs of homes throughout Pasadena with more records soon to come.

Founded by Pasadena Public Library, Pasadena Museum of History, and Pasadena City College Shatford Library, the PDHC is a consortium of cultural institutions dedicated to assembling, digitizing, and making web-accessible historical documents and artifacts that represent Pasadena’s heritage for the benefit of both the local community and researchers world-wide.
