Strawberry Festival music lineup announced

    Festival organizers today revealed the entertainment lineup for the 30^th Anniversary CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL May 18 and 19, 2013, where each day is jam-packed with concert performances on two Festival stages at Strawberry Meadows of College Park (3250 S. Rose Avenue) in Oxnard.

Each morning begins with the downbeat of the Oxnard High School Marching Band greeting guests at the entrance gates. This year’s celebration gets patrons in the act with the Berry Best Dance Contest, presented by Coca-Cola, and the Berry Best Strawberry Hat Contest happening daily at the Festival Stage. It’s all part of this year’s Berry Fun Ways to Win, with interactive contests on-site and online at facebook.com/californiastrawberryfestival. 

            In addition to free live entertainment, the Festival celebration includes over 50 food booths with proceeds benefiting charities, 250 Fine Arts & Crafts booths, gooey contests, Strawberryland for Kids with rides and attractions including a new Zipline, the Strawberry Promenade, and more. Admission ranges from $5 to $12. Hours are 10:00am to 6:30pm. The free Strawberry Express shuttle service is the preferred way to save money and beat traffic.
