Morrissey's historic 10 night run at the Hollywood Palladium is off to a flying start with promoters Live Nation reporting over 15,000 tickets sold in the first weekend the shows went on sale.
Included in the number are "seasons tickets" for 500 Morrissey fanatics who will be attending every one of the 10 shows and receive priority entry to the venue as well as a commemorative poster.
The final show on October 13th is already sold out and a number of the other shows will be sold out imminently.
Tickets for all other nights are on sale now.
The 10-night run represents the final 10 shows at the famed venue for the foreseeable future as it will close for a complete renovation.
Morrissey's incredible 2007 success in the Los Angeles area has already included a 17,000 plus sellout at The Hollywood Bowl in June and 3 sold-out nights at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in February. We wish to thank all the fans for their terrific support.
