Hard Rock International launches March on Stage

The month of March will be rockin' as Hard Rock International hosts March on Stage, a global live music series featuring high-caliber iconic and emerging artists! On Tuesday, February 26th, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, Ca. will kick off the month-long celebration in style, as Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run-DMC hosts and performs at the event, which will also feature performances by Griffin House, Sons of William, Eric Hutchinson and Emerson Hart, formerly of Tonic. The event will also celebrate the release of the latest Hard Rock Annual – a collection of music profiles which highlights 2007’s finest and the best of what’s to come. This year’s Hard Rock Annual will be distributed in the March issue of major music publications such as Rolling Stone, SPIN and Q magazines. During the event, featured Annual artist Darryl “DMC” McDaniels will be awarded with Hard Rock’s prestigious 2008 Annual Philanthropist of the Year Award, in recognition of his outstanding contribution as a visible ambassador for Hard Rock, working with charities from Global Angels to Peace Games to Nordoff-Robbins throughout 2007.

In addition, guests that evening will be given the opportunity to participate in a silent auction to win various rockin’ items, including an autographed Pearl drum kit by GRAMMY® winner and legendary drummer Chad Smith of The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Fans can also enter a raffle to win a guitar autographed by various March on Stage artists, which has been provided by Epiphone, a division of Gibson Guitar Corp.

Committed to its “Love All, Serve All” creed, Hard Rock will donate proceeds from its March on Stage events in North America to Musicians on Call – an organization founded with the mission of bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities to enhance the healing process. In addition, HardRock.com will be offering a limited-edition Musicians On Call commemorative pin, with proceeds benefiting the organization.
