Pasadena Mental Health Center (PMHC) will host its first annual Fête, Sunday, May 4 (5 – 8 p.m.) at redwhite+bluezz in Pasadena, to raise funds for affordable mental health services in the greater Pasadena area.
Fête will highlight jazz by the Ryan Cross Trio, just returning from a national tour on its way to becoming the most recognized jazz band on the West Coast.
PMHC, an affiliate of Five Acres child and family services agency, has provided quality mental health services to low-income people without access to affordable care since 1965. It serves more than 500 families and individuals annually.
“The emotional support and guidance we offer are a lifeline for those who often have nowhere else to turn for help when problems overwhelm them,” said David Swanson-Hollinger, executive director of PMHC. “We are particularly pleased with our First Offender partnership with the Pasadena Police Department, a 10-year-old alliance that helps non-violent youth and their families break the cycle of early delinquent behavior.”
Fête features signature wine and canapé tasting at the famed redwhite+bluezz, one of L.A.’s foremost jazz clubs, featuring cutting-edge cuisine and live music nightly. The evening also includes a silent auction. Individual ticket prices begin at $100. Sponsorships are still available.
redwhite+bluezz is located at 70 S. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena. Complimentary valet parking is available on Green Street.
