Thomas Henklemann eatery releases international music compilation CD

In celebration of the tenth anniversary of their restaurant Thomas Henkelmann, Thomas and Theresa Henkelmann have partnered with Miles Carroll and Sonodea to create a compilation of music that is sensual, sophisticated and intelligent. The first volume of a planned series, the Compilation allows the listener to bring home the spirit and magic that is Thomas Henkelmann.

“All of the senses come alive at their property and the compilation was inspired by this feeling. Like Thomas Henkelmann, the vibe is cutting edge, elegant and classic”, says Miles Carroll.

The selections were chosen for a specific, albeit eclectic clientele. Patrons of the restaurant are Captains of Industry, Finance and Entertainment and international ‘foodies’. The tracks move from transcontinental chill-out to loungy, club music; from dance inspired electronica, to trip-hop. The sound is as well-traveled as Henkelmann’s clientele including everything from French reggae to Arabesque.

As Founder and CEO of Miles Carroll Artist Development, Ms. Carroll produced the INDIEBOB Showcase on Long Island Sound. She was also responsible for artist selection as Co-chair of Sono Artsfest’s Music Committee, now in its thirty second year with an annual attendance of 80,000.

British born DJ, Felix Cutillo, Owner of Sonodea, is responsible for building Sonodea’s luxury client list which includes Brioni, Valentino, Banana Republic and now, Thomas Henkelmann.
Thomas Henkelmann Volume I is available for purchase at Bergdorf Goodman, Takashimaya, Louis of Boston and of course at www.ThomasHenklemann.com.
