REO Speedwagon to perform on "The Early Show"

Legendary rockers REO Speedwagon are traveling to Greensburg, Kan., to perform a live concert on THE EARLY SHOW on Friday, May 2 (7:00–9:00 AM/ET) on the CBS Television Network. The concert concludes “Tragedy to Triumph: Greensburg Rising,” a special week-long series highlighting a community that banned together to build an ecologically and economically sustainable town after being annihilated by a tornado last year. THE EARLY SHOW will broadcast live from Greensburg all week as the anchors and staffers head to the nation’s heartland and roll up their sleeves to help residents in their quest to build an eco-friendly playground.

During the concert, the band will perform some of their most popular songs including, “Can't Fight This Feeling,” “Roll With The Changes,” “Ridin' The Storm Out,” and their current hit, “Find Your Own Way Home.”

Since the release of their first record in 1971, REO Speedwagon has produced 17 critically acclaimed albums, including the 10-million seller, “Hi Infidelity.” The band has scored 13 Top 40 singles, including the number one hits “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” and “Keep On Loving You,” as well as timeless classics like “Roll With The Changes,” “Ridin’ The Storm Out,” “Take It On The Run,” “Time For Me To Fly,” “Don't Let Him Go” and “Keep Pushin.” REO Speedwagon’s latest album, “Find Your Own Way Home,” was released last year and is the band’s first album in 11 years. The band has sold more than 40 million albums to date and is currently touring North America with Def Leppard. For more information, visit their Web site at www.reospeedwagon.com.
