Wanda Coleman, known as "The L.A. Blueswoman," writes "jazz poetry in a blues context" . Among her 19 books are Mercurochrome (2001 National Book Award finalist) and Jazz and Twelve O'Clock Tales; comic and humor writer Carl Kozlowski, co-author of Seize the Day Job , is a fan favorite around town; Scott Wannberg, Nomads of Oblivionat ,is a poet and long-time clerk of the soon-to-be-shuttered Dutton's bookstore; Lisa Teasley is a native Losangelean and author of the , Glow in the Dark .The Village Voice said she: " lights up the plunge into the abyss" ; and poet Phil Martin, a.k.a.
