Genghis Tron to play Coachella

GENGHIS TRON has announced that they perform at the 2009 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival along with such legendary acts as PAUL MCCARTNEY, LEONARD COHEN, MORRISSEY, THE CURE, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, and many more. Coachella 2009 will take place April 17, 18, and 19 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. For more information, including complete festival line-up, please visit Coachella.com.

GENGHIS TRON has also announced two east coast dates in March alongside CONVERGE, COLISEUM, and more. A listing of dates can be found below. The band is currently writing the follow-up album to last year’s acclaimed Board Up The House release, which was named ‘Album Of The Year’ by Rock Sound Magazine.

Additionally, Board Up The House’s title track, as remixed by Renholder, appears in the new film ‘Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans’ in theatres now. “Board Up The House” plays over the movie’s end-credits sequence and also appears on the official ‘Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans’ soundtrack in stores now. The “Board Up The House” remix originally appears on volume three of the band’s five volume 12” remix series of their latest record Board Up The House alongside remixes from Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED), Phillip Cope (KYLESA), ULVER, and DRUMCORPS.
