Shimmy Showcase Sunday

April 11 - Saviya will be coordinating this special performance featuring LIVE MUSIC once again with an I-Candy favorite—the extraordinary musicians of Elan! We have the talented Kamar, Circe, and Annakiya lined up to perform to the music of Marguerite, Rico and possibly Maurice too. As anyone who has been to a Shimmyshowcase featuring Elan with dancers can attest, this is an experience which will enrich your mind as well as your senses. Why not come down to I-Candy for a wonderful, relaxing evening of great entertainment in a friendly environment!

Select your favorite beverage, hot or cold, from an assortment of coffees, teas, smoothies or juice; add to that a tasty sandwich or pastry; and then seat yourself alongside our magic carpet to enjoy some really great dancing at NO cover charge! April 18 - Alexiis has surprise Guest dancers lined up for a special Spring-themed Shimmyshowcase - Flora & Fauna

April 25 - Abraiha will be coordinating this showcase, and she welcomes Beach Bellies dance troupe with Meredith . We still have room for another dancer, so please contact us at Shimmyshowcase@yahoogroups.com if you would like to perform on our magic carpet!


May 2 - Shimmyshowcase presents Fiesta Night! Delilah will be shaking her maracas for this “south of the border” theme, and Xandra also has Desert Lotus Tribal lined up to perform to a Latin beat.

May 23 --- Alexiis coordinates this Shimmyshowcase with the alluring Lapis performing as guest dancer. We have openings for more dancers, so if you would like to perform, please contact us at Shimmyshowcase@yahoogroups.com for a performance spot!

Since street parking around I-Candy Coffee is scarce, we recommend you try the perimeter of Bixby park located two blocks west of I-Candy Coffee at Broadway and Cherry. Please try to arrive before 7:00 PM (earlier if you’re a performer!) as we try not to start the show until everyone has settled with a tasty beverage.
