Live entertainment is being added as of January 22nd to Saturday evenings from 6pm-10pm at the venerable Steak 'n Stein restaurant on Whittier Blvd in Pico Rivera. Versatile musician Mike Parlett will provide classical, jazz and favorites from mid-century songbooks. His talent on a number of wind instruments, which he rotates to depending upon the music, has thrilled audiences for many years.
"We are so pleased to be adding this entertainment element to the restaurant," says Manager Jonathan Brennan. "We waited until we found just the right talent to please our customers and Mike is it."
A restaurant with a classic dinner menu with ample portions served by seasoned professional wait staff has endured for six decades. The huge round fireplace in the lounge welcomes patrons and the dark wood and rustic surroundings seem to put all who enter at ease.
