Jason Aldean in LA Oct. 27

Country superstar Jason Aldean‘s recently extended 2011 MY KINDA PARTY tour will roll into Los Angeles on October 27th at Gibson Amphitheatre, with special guests Chris Young and Thompson Square.

Tickets for Aldean’s eagerly-awaited Los Angeles show will go on sale Friday, May 20th at 10 AM. They will be available at LiveNation.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster retail outlets plus via Charge-By-Phone (800.745.3000).

Aldean is currently playing the nation’s biggest summer amphitheatres where he is posting capacity crowds well in advance of several shows.

“Feels like this first leg just got started...we’re only warming up!” said Aldean. “It’ll be nice to stop in some places we haven’t been since the new record came out. I’m really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us too. Both are on a roll right now, so it’ll be a great time!”Of the live show, The Lexington Herald-Leader said, “…watching a young indie country act smoke all major name competitors at the box and earn such an easygoing and complete trust with an audience of this size was an honest thrill.”

Aldean’s current single “Dirt Road Anthem” is currently in the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Singles chart. The third single off his PLATINUM selling album MY KINDA PARTY, “Dirt Road Anthem” is a fan-favorite track that suggests Aldean’s influences range from Snoop Dogg to Charlie Daniels. It follows MY KINDA PARTY’s two previous No. one hits “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson and it’s title track.

Fans can now vote for Aldean for the 2011 CMT Awards where he leads the nominations with four for Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year for “My Kinda Party,” Collaborative Video of the Year for “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Kelly Clarkson and Best Web Video of the Year for “My Kinda Party” Live from the CMT Webcast. He will also perform on the June 8 live broadcast.

Recently nominated for his first GRAMMY Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance with his hit, “Gettin’ You Home,” Chris Young has emerged as a fan-favorite with three consecutive No. ones at radio. His third release, NEON, featuring the hot new single, "Tomorrow," is set to release this summer. Thompson Square, burst on to the country music scene with the release of their self-titled debut album earning the No. three spot on the Top Country Albums chart. Their infectious hit single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” has reached the Top five spot on iTunes Country Singles chart and on the country radio charts.
