Live Oak Music Festival
WHAT: Now in its 23rd year, the Live Oak Music Festival features 16 main-stage musical acts representing genres ranging from folk, bluegrass and gospel to Tex-Mex, boogie-woogie and jazz. The Festival will once again showcase some of the finest musicians in the world including:
· Recent Grammy-winner Mavis Staples
· Legendary ska and reggae band Toots & the Maytals
· Grammy-winning singer Mollie O’Brien & guitarist Rich Moore
· The ultimate Tex-Mex super group, Texas Tornados
· Juno-winning folk trio, the Wailin’ Jennys
· And many more!
In addition, there are special performances and activities for children and for teens, music workshops, dances, craft classes, arts & crafts vendors, and much more.
WHEN: June 17, 18 & 19, 2011 (Father’s Day weekend).
WHERE: Live Oak Camp, nestled under the oak trees of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley just north of Santa Barbara, California.
TICKETS: Tickets for the three-day outdoor concert and camping event are available now. Adult full-festival passes cost $122, teen passes are $77, and children (ages 4-12) get in for only $37. Children under four years old are free! Individual day tickets are also available for $42 for adults and $17 for children. All festival proceeds benefit KCBX Public Radio, which serves San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
