There is a new book out this spring by Adam Chester called S'Mother: The Story of a Man, His Mom, and the Thousands of Altogether Insane Letters She's Mailed Him.
A book signing will be taking place next Friday, July 22nd at 7pm inside the Barnes and Noble on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. They plan on reading a few of the classic letters and a couple of brand new embarrassing ones. But wait. There's more!
Adam (who by trade is the pianist for Elton John’s band) will also be playing the keyboard and joined on the guitar by his friend, the one and only DAVEY JOHNSTONE from the Elton John Band! Davey is currently the musical director for Elton and his lead guitarist since 1971. Adam and Davey are building a 'Songs about mothers' setlist that will prove to be short, appropriate and a whole lotta fun.
