Berkley Hart album release party in Altadena July 30

BERKLEY HART BRING ‘CROW,’ THEIR 6TH STUDIO ALBUM TO COFFEE GALLERY BACKSTAGE, SATURDAY, JULY 30, 2011

Join Berkley Hart as they release “Crow,” their 6th studio album, with a special performance on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Coffee Gallery Backstage in the Altadena, California. The show will start at 7 pm, and tickets are $20.

In some cultures, the crow symbolizes despair and darkness, while in others it is a harbinger of hope and light. This contrast seemed to fit the yin and yang of the songs on the new Berkley Hart album, both musically and lyrically, and thus inspired the title.

Among other songs, listeners will find the playfully dark cover, “Little Boxes,” as well as the moody “Barn Sour Horses,” which serves as a sequel of sorts to some of the characters you’ve already met in previous Berkley Hart songs. Long-time fans are sure to Berkley Hart at their best on this album while new listeners will definitely understand why this incredible duo is so admired.

Over their more than 10 years together, Berkley Hart have proven time and again they are worth the price of admission or the cost of a CD. Don’t miss an incredible night of music as the duo from San Diego, Berkley Hart, return to Coffee Gallery Backstage.
