Explore the world of dance in one afternoon at the Center Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, July 10th, 2011, at 4 PM. From belly dancing to ballet and krump, DanceFest 2011 is a display of traditional, urban, and contemporary dance styles presented by the Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation, and Marine’s Homeland Cultural Center.

DJ Ervin Arana
The festival has received funding from Partners of Parks, a non-profit organization that supports Long Beach parks, recreation, and beaches. DanceFest is also supported by grants from the Arts Council for Long Beach and the Dwight Stuart Youth Foundation.
“Dance is a universal language that can expressed in a myriad of ways and appreciated by all,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. “We warmly welcome DanceFest 2011 to the Center Theater,” he concluded.
