Bob Stane says: By now you are aware that The Coffee Gallery Backstage is awash with musical and comedy talent as only a Summer in California can offer. It is non-stop. Acts are flooding in to amuse and amaze you. Yet, so many of you, who are so used to seeing, and hearing, only the best of the best have asked, "Bob, we want a play so fine and so exhilarating that the prime movers have been asked to come to The Edinburgh Theatre Festival so they may present it, in a one hour form, for the pleasure of the elite of Europe."
England & Scotland will be agog. Come agog with us here in America as the locally famous author and wit, ELLEN SNORTLAND, presents her play, "Now That She's Gone" in a tight, one hour
abridged version to fit into the rules of the European premier. If she can not do this it is "to the Tower with her" and she will end up in chains and with but one crust of bread per day. This is where you come in. We need you in the audience and you have your choices of 5 afternoons or evenings. And at a fair price for a European bound play. This is a prize winner.
Now, you ask, how may we get reservations to agog with you and the other lovers of the spoken word?
Well, do not phone the Reservation Number for The Coffee Gallery Backstage. We are, merely, supplying our version of The Olde Globe Theatre so you may be assured of comfortable seating and safety from the uncouth murmurings and vulgarities of the groundlings and unwashed peasants. Actually, if you wish to sit beside a filthy goatherd it will cost you extra as we will have to time his ripening. Smell no ruffian before his time.
Below you will find Web Pages, phone numbers and all. Take advantage and call soon. Do not
call me, or whine at Beverly, at The Coffee Gallery Backstage reservation number for this event. We are innocent bystanders.
We will say, in our usual surly manner, "it's not my job, man." Contact "Brown Paper Tickets." (see below).
This is, totally, a production of ELLEN SNORTLAND and her European affiliates, Agog Productions, Limited.
I will be there for all 5 presentations.
