Pasadena to offer water-saving gardening workshop July 16

Say goodbye to your water-thirsty grass at a free workshop Saturday, July 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Salvation Army Pasadena Tabernacle, 960 E. Walnut St.



Sponsored by Pasadena Water and Power, the workshop will be taught by an expert landscaper who will provide information and examples of best practices for permanent removal of grass, alternatives to grass such as colorful water-saver plants and permeable pavers, the latest irrigation devices for efficient watering and how to help your new landscaping thrive.
