Note—N405-W22 (7th St) transition is closed for construction, so folks who normally take that route please take note and allow enough time for an alternate route!

Everyone is invited to this cozy haven for a relaxing evening among friends. Select your favorite beverage, hot or cold, from an assortment of coffees, teas, smoothies or juice; add to that a tasty sandwich or pastry; and then seat yourself alongside our magic carpet to enjoy some really great dancing at NO cover charge!
SHIMMY SHOWCASE at I-Candy Coffee begins at 6:00 p.m. I-Candy is located in Long Beach at 1708 E. Broadway; 562-437-3785.
Please allow time for parking to avoid missing any of the fun. Since street parking around I-Candy Coffee is scarce, we recommend you try the perimeter of Bixby park located two blocks east of I-Candy Coffee at Broadway and Cherry. We appreciate your arrival 15 minutes before show time (earlier if you’re a performer!) so you can get your refreshments and grab a seat and allow us to begin promptly at the scheduled time.

July 17 – Saviya returns for another evening of Shimmyshowcase fun, and does she have the entertainment lined up for you! We welcome back Bathsheba, and Meredith with their beautifully executed middle eastern moves and introduce Apadana, and Janelle, both accomplished belly dancers making their Shimmyshowcase debut. Please be sure to join us for a fabulous evening of entertainment on I-Candy’s magic carpet.
July 24 – Om Sister and Shimmyshowcase coordinator extraordinaire Ilana returns to I-Candy to honcho another showcase for you. Solo dancers Bathsheba and Draca and Azuluna ATS troupe will work their dance magic for your entertainment. Please join us for an incredible evening of middle eastern inspired dance at I-Candy!
July 31—Shimmyshowcase coordinator Jannah presents the perfect summer theme on this night--“Fun and Fantasy.” Get ready for an evening of imagination run wild as Dalilah, Rebecca, Bathsheba, Hatari Uzuri, and Siraj unleash their favorite fantasies in dance! This will be a great showcase you won’t want to miss, so please be sure to join us at I-Candy.
August 7 -- Saviya and the Shimmyshowcase team are pleased to welcome that ever-popular bellydance troupe JJ & the Habibis, led by the beautiful and delightful JJ! Please join us for an evening of incredible fun and great dancing or you’ll regret you missed it!
