Friday, March 2, 8:30 p.m. – “Great Performances: Andrea Bocelli Live in Central Park”

Acclaimed performer Andrea Bocelli performs a concert in New York’s iconic Central Park. Guests include Céline Dion, Tony Bennett, Chris Botti and David Foster.




Saturday, March 3, 6 p.m. – “Big Band Vocalists” – PREMIERE

This special looks back at the “crooners” and “canaries” of the 1940s, featuring the greatest vocalists of the period when they started their careers performing with orchestras and dance bands.



Saturday, March 3, 10 p.m. – “Superstars of Seventies Soul Live”

Soul diva Patti LaBelle hosts the historic reunion of classic recording artists of the decade, including the Commodores, original lead Eugene Record reuniting with the Chi-Lites, the Stylistics, Yvonne Elliman, Heatwave, Earl Young’s Trammps, the Emotions and the Manhattans.



Sunday, March 4, 5:30 p.m. – “Great Performances: The Phantom of the Opera at Royal Albert Hall” – PREMIERE

This special takes a front-row seat for the 25th anniversary performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera” at the Royal Albert Hall.



Tuesday, March 6, 7 p.m. – “Yanni: Live at El Morro” – PREMIERE

This special features Yanni in an inspiring concert performed at the historic 16th century Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico.



Tuesday, March 6, 8:30 p.m. – “Il Volo Takes Flight” – PREMIERE

“Il Volo Takes Flight” features a trio of teenage tenors’ rendition of operatic, pop and Italian classics, showcasing their vocal talent and interpretive gift for music.



Thursday, March 8, 7 p.m. – “Celtic Thunder Voyage” – PREMIERE

Following the incredible success of “Heritage,” Celtic Thunder continues to explore their Irish and Celtic roots in “Voyage.”



Sunday, March 11, 7 p.m. – “Oscar Hammerstein II: Out of My Dreams” – PREMIERE

The special celebrates the legendary works of the most acclaimed lyricist and librettist of the 20th century. Matthew Morrison (“Glee”) hosts.



Sunday, March 11, 8:30 p.m. – “Idina Menzel Live: Barefoot at the Symphony” –PREMIERE

Tony® Award-winning Broadway, television (“Glee”) and recording artist Idina Menzel, backed by an orchestra masterfully led by legendary composer/conductor Marvin Hamlisch, performs at The Royal Conservatory’s beautiful Koerner Hall in Toronto, Canada.



Friday, March 30, 9 p.m. – “Great Performances: San Francisco Symphony at 100” – PREMIERE

This special episode celebrates the San Francisco Symphony’s centennial with music director Michael Tilson Thomas and Itzhak Perlman and Lang Lang performing works by Copland, Mendelssohn and Britten.
