American Royalty releases new music video and at The Echo

LA experimental electronic rock darlings American Royalty unveiled the video for their second single Blood Keys today. Collaborating again with Brooklyn animator Jeff Scher, the video follows in the footsteps of previous single Matchstick, but takes the group's commitment to abstract visuals and mind-bending imagery down a deeper and darker wormhole, an adventure well suited for the stormy psychedelic stomp of the track.

"We couldn't be more pleased to be working with Jeff [Scher] on another project. His animation is very parallel to what we are trying to achieve sonically with Blood Keys. It's become one of our favorite songs to play live, and the way that Jeff applies these images really translates that excitement" says the band.

American Royalty is in the midst of their residency at The Echo, which has them performing and curating all five Monday nights in July. True to form, the band has chosen support acts of all shapes and sizes, ranging from the garage rock of The Orwells and Blackfeet Braves, all the way to the deeper electronic sounds of Floyd Campbell (Body High) and The New Division.
