A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents a production of CHARLES DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL and two other holiday-themed special events in December.

The company creates a family holiday tradition with its production of CHARLES DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the ultimate tale of forgiveness, opening Saturday, December 8 and closing Sunday, December 23, 2012 (previews begin Saturday, December 1).  ANW Producing Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott co-direct the timeless masterpiece, in a new adaptation by GEOFF ELLIOTT, about the redemptive and transformative power of love.  TICKETS: $52 A Section / $48 B Section (Weekends); $48 A Section / $44 B Section (Weekdays); $40 A Section / $36 B Section (Previews).

A free reading of Tennessee Williams' holiday-themed PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT by TENNESSEE WILLIAMS is presented on Wednesday, December 13, 7 pm.  Directed by Deborah Strang and featuring A Noise Within resident artists, this rarely performed play about two couples on Christmas Eve is Williams' only comedy.  FREE: reservations recommended.

"FEZZIWIG'S FESTIVE HOLIDAY TEA," a benefit for A Noise Within's vital Classics Live! education outreach programs, takes place on Sunday, December 16, 12 noon, prior to the 2 pm matinee of Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  The event, named for a generous character in the beloved tale, includes a traditional British tea with freshly baked scones and finger sandwiches, costumed carolers and other holiday music, and the performance itself.  TICKETS: $300 per person (including performance).
