The Pasadena area's second annual community wide book festival is Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Pasadena's Central Park (South Raymond Ave. and E. Delmar Blvd., see map below.)
LitFest Pasadena presents three stages packed with a day full of PANELS, IN CONVERSATIONS, READINGS, PERFORMANCES, POETRY, TEEN, MIDDLE GRADE, & CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS. It is a celebratory day featuring well-known and upcoming California authors, hands-on activities, good food, better books, and family-friendly fun all aimed at promoting the literary arts!
LitFest Pasadena will feature more than 80 authors, storytellers, and performers for a day that will explore an eclectic mix of subjects such as Southern California surf culture, local history, children's and young adult literature, and more. Among the authors joining us are Jonathan Gold, Reyna Grande, Amber Benson, andSeverin Browne,
live music and performances by
History Lit
and
The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre.
More than 40 exhibitors will entice attendees with a variety of products, services, and activities. LitFest's unbeatable price--FREE--and easy access (just steps from the Central Park Gold Line station) will make for a fantastic day for all!

LitFest Pasadena will take place at Central Park, between
S. Fair Oaks Ave and S. Raymond Ave., just north of E. Del Mar Blvd.
Parking structures are located at E. Green St. and S. Raymond Ave.,
or at the Gold Line Delmar Metro station on S. Raymond Ave.
