San Diego Music Thing set for Sept. 13 and 14

This September 13 and 14, the place to be is San Diego, California. The San Diego Music Thing (SDMT - http://sandiegomusicthing.com) is proud to announce featured speakers Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth) and Mike Herrera (MxPx).  Now in its sixth year, the San Diego Music Thing continues to educate and inspire emerging and established musicians and industry professionals from the West Coast and beyond.

Kim Gordon is best known as a founding member of iconic noise-rock band Sonic Youth.  Gordon has also been involved in numerous collaborations with other artists and musicians including Julie Cafritz, Thurston Moore, Lydia Lunch, Vincent Gallo and Yoko Ono. Gordon’s current project Body/Head with guitarist Bill Nace will perform during SDMT.
