EMERY returns to the LA-area on their headlining tour Friday, February 15 @ The Troubadour & Sunday & February 17 @ The Glass House in Pomona. Touring in support of their third album I'M ONLY A MAN (Tooth & Nail Records), the set was produced by Ryan Boesch who has previously engineered discs by The Cure, Foo Fighters, Eels, and Ozomatli.
Strong critical praise has been pouring in for I’M ONLY A MAN, which sees the band expanding on their melodic side with catchy tracks that resonate long after the first listen: In it’s December 2007 issue, Blender says “From the quietly disaffected seething ‘World Away’ to the faux-disco beats on ‘Don’t Bore Us, Get To the Chorus,’ this is screamo worth shouting about”. Alternative Press continued “Blessed today with confidence and new creativity, their third album, I’M ONLY A MAN, is effortless… (December 2007).”
