EMERY returns to the LA-area on their headlining tour this week. The band is touring in support of their third album I'M ONLY A MAN (Tooth & Nail Records), produced by Ryan Boesch (engineered discs for The Cure, Foo Fighters, Eels, Ozomatli).
Strong critical praise has been pouring in for I’M ONLY A MAN, which sees the band expanding on their melodic side with catchy tracks that resonate long after the first listen: In it’s December 2007 issue, Blender says “From the quietly disaffected seething ‘World Away’ to the faux-disco beats on ‘Don’t Bore Us, Get To the Chorus,’ this is screamo worth shouting about”. Alternative Press continued “Blessed today with confidence and new creativity, their third album, I’M ONLY A MAN, is effortless… (December 2007).”
