Fans can see Daryl Hall's SXSW performance on the Web

Daryl Hall will make a special appearance at this year’s South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival, being held in Austin, TX, from March 12-16.

Hall, co-founder of Daryl Hall and John Oates, one of rock music’s best selling artists, will perform as part of SXSW Live, carried on DirecTV’s Blaze TV, the official TV partner for the festival, on March 12 at 8 p.m. The one-hour special will also air over the following 12 months as part of the DirecTV Concert Series, available to 16.5 million subscribers (a potential audience of 40 million). The show will also be available for streaming on www.livefromdarylshouse.com, beginning April 15 and will remain on the site for a month for subscribers.

The show will consist of an interview with a champion of the band, followed by Daryl’s live performance and a dialogue with the performer.

Daryl will be participating in other SXSW events culminating with a Q&A session on March 15th.

Daryl recently launched, Live From Daryl’s House, his own monthly webcast featuring free online musical performances with various guest artists; available on his website, www.livefromdarylshouse.com. The next installment of the series takes place February 15th.
