Miss Kristin's singles making waves

Miss Kristin's "The Runner" weighty with singles worth repeating is going with the trend of releasing singles to radio and retail via direct digital delivery. Evidence is showing the trend returning toward the recorded single. With independent artists having the freedom to create through their process, without conglomerates controlling their wares, it is a new frontier where a steady stream of great music can flow like water again; where fans can pick up their favorite singles without having to invest in that which they are not moved by.
Never one to wait, Miss Kristin of Big Fuss Records is one of the first out of the gate with the new delivery methods. With her new cd "The Runner" nearing completion, Big Fuss Records chose to release the tracks as singles initially, with the music being delivered to radio now. No more holding back and holding out for the complete collection. With the eleven song cd featuring full original album art available in April, Miss Kristin is excited about the singles hitting mainstream radio now.
The first single to be released from Miss Kristin is "Torch Song", composed in a forties style of femme fatal heartbreak and loss. "Torch Song" nettles in torment with belief and you can hear it in Miss Kristin's powerful and sultry vocal style. You can't help feeling empathy and your heart opening while listening to her stinging voice sing of a love lost and lived. Next is the breezy love story, "Falling At Your Feet", reminiscent of falling in love during spring time with honeysuckle scents on the wind.
Miss Kristin has a new age feel about her music, yet definitively is not a New Age artist in that she is more Pop and Rock as well as a bit of Country. Miss Kristin embraces her total self through her writings and in doing that, appeals to a wide range of listeners.
"The Runner" heavy laded with singles worth repeating, features "Always Been Poor" a Rodney Dangerfield style of writing that's comical and contagious alike. "Always Been Poor" will be marketed to Country, Pop, Folk and Americana genres. The driving rock title track, "The Runner" with all the determination a head banger needs, will propel itself forward via the new digital delivery methods shortly thereafter.
Big Fuss Records is proud of Miss Kristin and "The Runner", and is thrilled to begin releasing it via DMDS , Airplay Access, and AirplayDirect immediately. The singles are available for purchase immediately at many web sites through Snocap and MissKristin.com Visit Miss Kristin on MySpace;
