BIO premieres the one-hour episode Biography: Mötley Crüe on Thursday, February 19 at 10 PM ET/9 PM CT/8 PM PT.
"Biography: Mötley Crüe" takes viewers through the nearly 30 years career span of one of the most infamous rock bands of our time who sold more than 45 million records worldwide. The LA quartet - made up of lead singer Vince Neil, drummer Tommy Lee, bass player Nikki Sixx and guitarist Mick Mars - parlayed whiplash hard-rock songs, melodic power ballads and a hedonistic image into superstardom and lived the rock & roll lifestyle to its fullest, with celebrity marriages, substance abuse, controversies and scrapes with the law.
The one-hour episode features exclusive concert, tour and personal footage, music videos and photographs and interviews with all of the band members as well as featured commentators including the band's manager Allen Kovac, Billboard Magazine's Christa Titus, author Neil Strauss (The Dirt), photographer Neil Zlozower and concert promoter Ron Delsener. Music featured in the special includes "Shout At The Devil," "Too Fast for Love," "Kickstart My Heart," "Looks that Kill," "Home Sweet Home," "Girls, Girls, Girls," "Dr. Feelgood" and "Saints of Los Angeles."
"Biography: Mötley Crüe" is produced by Departure Films for A&E with Max Weissman serving as executive producer. BIO executive producers are Peter Tarshis and Tom Moody.
