Songsalive! asks you to help those affected by Australian brushfires

The Australian Bushfires. Call for help.

As we are partly an Australian organization (founded in Sydney), we are saddened by the news of the Bushfires in Victoria and Songsalive! wants to help. Bushfires have caused devastation throughout the state of Victoria with the death toll expected to rise as the fires continue to burn and threaten communities.

People outside Australia who are concerned for the safety of family and friends in the areas affected by the bushfires in Victoria, and who have not been able to contact them directly.

So as to minimise the telephone congestion on the telephone hotlines, the Red Cross have established the following websites for people wishing to make donations directly online.

Concerned friends and family in the US can also contact the American Red Cross (www.redcross.org) to open a tracing case with the Australian Red Cross.

* I am posting this for gilli moon who is now in Australia this week.
Cheers,
Dave
