Wakefield + Manchester + Portland = melodic punk rock quartet THE CRIBS who celebrate the release of their brand new, critically-embraced Warner Bros. Records album IGNORE THE IGNORANT, with news of a coast-to-coast American tour beginning January, 2010.
Following their recently completed blitz upon Los Angeles and New York which included their second barnstorming performance on The Late Show with David Letterman, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVdp5hKSAKo ) THE CRIBS return, stronger, louder and more forceful than ever.
At present, THE CRIBS are on a brief stadium tour of Europe with old friends Franz Ferdinand (you’ll recall Franz’ Alex Kapranos produced THE CRIBS' last album, MEN’S NEEDS, WOMEN’S NEEDS, WHATEVER), followed by an arena headline tour of the UK before heading back to the USA for more chaotic fan frenzy which has become the trademark atmosphere of their live shows around the world. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more engaged audience/band bond from anyone else touring today. Do yourself a favor – don’t miss THE CRIBS live in 2010.
