Celebrated tenor saxophonist Pete Christlieb and his Quintet will showcase their extraordinary musical talents on Saturday, November 28 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m in the Lobby Lounge at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena. Christlieb specializes in bebop, hard bop and West Coast jazz, and has played the legendary sax solos on Steely Dan's recording of Deacon Blues from the album Aja, Natalie Cole's Unforgettable, and the extended tenor sax solo on the song FM from the movie of the same name.
The Langham Huntington, in partnership with the American Jazz Institute, is pleased to host this jazz concert featuring renowned musicians in an intimate setting. The hotel’s distinguished Lobby Lounge is the location for the show, offering panoramic views of the Horseshoe Garden and San Marino. Accommodating just 70 guests, the concert will ensure a unique jazz experience for all guests. Cocktails and drinks will be served at the Lobby Lounge bar and during intermission, giving guests an opportunity to interact with the musicians.
