Edan Lepucki is a native of L.A., and a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She's been published in Narrative Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, and Meridian, among other places, and she's a regular contributor to The Millions, a popular books and culture website. She won the 2009 James D. Phelan Award for her recently completed first novel, Days of Insignificance and Evil.

Michale O'Keefe works regularly in film, television and on the Broadway stage. As an actor he's garnered both Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations and has received a Theater World Award. His lyrics were in the Grammy winning song, Longing in their Hearts, which was composed and sung by Bonnie Raitt. His writing has appeared in BOMB, Lake Affect and Chaparral. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College. His first book of poetry is Swimming from Under My Father.

Cecil Castellucci has published five novels. Her short stories have been published in various anthologies and is the co-editor, of the anthology Geektastic. Upcoming in 2010 is a new novel Rose Sees Red and a picture book Grandma's Gloves. In addition to writing books, she writes plays, makes movies and occasionally rocks out. Frank Montesonti teaches in the MFA Creative Writing program at National University. His poems have appeared in such journals as Black Warrior Review, AQR, Cream City Review, and Poet Lore. A Civic Pageant, won the 2007 Black River Chapbook contest.

Giuliana Mayo was raised by hippies in the deep South. Having escaped by the skin of her teeth, she came to Los Angeles where she magically ended up making clothing for rockstars. When not measuring Steven Tyler's inseam or cleaning cat vomit off Britney Spears' pants, she's told tales of her misadventures for The Moth and KCRW.
