Steve Rushton performing at Hollywood Music In Media Awards tonight

Hollywood's rising heartthrob Steve Rushton will grace the stage at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) on Thursday, November 19 to perform his hit song, "Ready to Rock." The popular rock tune, also earning Rushton an HMMA nomination for Best Music Video, was featured in Jerry Bruckheimer's Disney blockbuster "G-Force."

The 21-year-old hailing from England is breezing along on a career fast track. In addition to the G Force Soundtrack, Rushton has written and contributed many of his songs such as "Game Over" to "Disney's Hannah Montana The Movie," in which he made a cameo role playing Miley's on screen guitar player. His music popularity in movies continued as the upbeat song "Emergency" was featured in the soundtrack "Race To Witch Mountain."

Just in time for the holidays, Rushton releases his one of kind rendition of the holiday classic "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and new video on Disney's "Santa Buddies." Steve will wrap up his busy year by performing on the nationally televised Christmas Day, Disneyland Parade, which airs on ABC.

With an album in the works, the Brit, also know for his consistent punk-pop style, enlisted in producer John Fields (Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato) and world-class songwriters like Antonina Armato, Tim James, Daniel James and Leah Haywood. A gifted songwriter himself, Rushton wrote or co-wrote most of the album's 11 tracks.
