Richie Ramone to perform at Colombo's in Eagle Rock Monday

One of the most influential punk rock groups of the past three decades is without a doubt the Ramones. Since 1978 they have been hailed as groundbreakers for their musical genre. Drummer Richie Ramone, a member of the Ramones during their heyday from 1983 to 1987, is set to perform at Colombo’s Italian Restaurant & Jazz Club in Eagle Rock on Monday, December21st, 8:30pm during their Weekly Celebrity Jam.

Richie Ramone wrote “Somebody Put Something in My Drink” and “I’m Not Jesus” among other popular songs released by the Ramones and appeared in the feature film ‘End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones’. He composed for and performed with the Pasadena Pops to rave reviews recently and enjoys still being an active musician.

With the three original members (Joey, Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone) no longer with us, this is a special treat for Ramones fans to come and see a ‘Ramone’ perform live up close and personal within Colombo’s intimate setting. Colombo’s is located at 1833 Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock (323) 254-9138.
