Kaylah Marin to perform 2 Hollywood shows

L.A.’s newest R&B/dance sensation Kaylah Marin continues to climb the Billboard Dance Club play charts to #24 (with a bullet) with her grooving track “On The Floor (Oh Baby Please)” to be revealed in the January 9 issue.

Rounding out Kaylah’s amazing break-out year, the singer will perform at L.A.’s famous Cat Club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood on Wednesday, December 30 at 9 p.m. Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane Carrey, will also take the stage that evening.

Kaylah then kicks off 2010 with a performance at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood for its new Indie Artist Showcase on Thursday, January 7 at 8:30 p.m. Both performances will feature music from her debut album Loving Life, including Kaylah’s ACQB hit, “Green Caddie,” which earned her a Hollywood Music In Media Award (HMMA) nomination for best song in the R&B/Soul category. Loving Life was executive produced by Laurie Andrewsen of Epiphany Productions and produced by five-time Grammy winner Narada Michael Walden.“On The Floor (Oh Baby Please)” is available on PerfectBeat.com–where Kaylah holds the #1 download position for the fifth straight week–with remixes by heavy-hitting producers Tracy Young (Macy Gray, Madonna, Britney Spears) along with Josh Harris (The Killers, Seal), Rod Carrillo, and top charting DJs The Perry Twins.

The dance remixes were also highlighted at the Touchdowns4life charity event, hosted by Tommy Davidson and Terry Kirby of the Miami Dolphins in Delray Beach, FL. Certain remixes were used during the runway fashion show and throughout the night by celebrity turntable master, DJ Irie.

Kaylah continues to skyrocket and is working on the release of dance remixes to “Everybody” due out early 2010.
