Joe Sib performance at Largo Jan. 6 will benefit UCP Wheels for Humanity

JOE SIB will bring “broken word” show CALIFORNIA CALLING will come to Los Angeles, CA Wednesday, January 6 at Largo. A staple in the SoCal music scene, the Wax frontman, co-owner of independent label Side One Dummy Records and host of punk rock radio show “Complete Control” on 98.7FM will present a night of stories covering his obsession for and love of skateboarding and punk rock and how his growing up in California has helped him develop that love.

Sib’s does his entire show in front of photographs from punk photographers Murray Bowles, Edward Culver and Lisa Johnson. He will also be joined by longtime friend, New York punk singer/songwriter Jesse Malin, who will open the show with a special acoustic set. A portion of the proceeds will go to UCP Wheels For Humanity.
