Trisha Yearwood sparkled in black and red gowns as the statuesque blonde gracefully served as both host and performer at the taping of Christmas At Belmont, an annual holiday special that will air this year on Dec 23 on PBS (check local listings).

Returning to Nashville, where Trisha studied at Belmont's renowned music progran before becoming one of country music's leading ladies, Trisha joined Belmont students who composed the band and choir for the special.
"It was great to be back at my alma mater, Belmont University. I loved getting a chance to hang out with the students and feel their enthusiasm for music," enthused Yearwood. "It was the perfect way to ring in the holidays!"
The national premiere of Christmas At Belmont on PBS and NPT will air Wednesday, December 23 at 7 p.m. (CST). Additional NPT Local Viewing: Thursday, December 24 at 9 p.m. (CST). Christmas Day on PBS: Check local listings.
