Bigbang to release Christmas single

Norway’s biggest band Bigbang (http://t.ymlp143.com/ywuazaewuadauhhagauemj/click.php) announced today that they will be releasing a Christmas vinyl 7 inch single this month that includes a Chris Bell (Big Star) cover featuring Euroboy from Turbonegro.

Side A will feature the live version of “Isabel”, a new track from Bigbang’s forthcoming January 19 release, Edendale (Grand Sport Records/Oglio Records) recorded this summer with Ståle Storløkken and the choir boys from Sølvguttene and St. Halvardguttene.

Side B will feature a track called "Better Save Yourself", originally by Chris Bell from the posthumous release, I Am The Cosmos. The track is taken from a recording session last summer with Bigbang founder and songwriter Øystein Greni and Knut Schreiner aka Euroboy (Euroboys / Turbonegro and more) in Grand Sport Studios.

There are only 2 ways of getting this release:

A) Buy it at one of the Norwegian Christmas concerts

B) Buy it through the forum at http://t.ymlp143.com/ywearaewuatauhhanauemj/click.php (free registration required).

All singles will be numbered, signed by the band and will be extremely limited.

The single and an upcoming interview will also honor and pay respect to Bigbang's sound engineer Lars Klokkerhaug, who died recently from cancer.

Greni and Euroboy grew up together in the Oslo music scene. The pair decided to get together last year during time off from touring and recording with their respective bands to concentrate on recording material both musicians respected and felt needed more attention. As major Chris Bell fans from his days in Big Star and as a solo performer, Greni and Euroboy selected “Better Save Yourself” for its melancholy beauty. Additional tracks were recorded and there are plans to record more for a possible full-length release of under-appreciated musical gems that deserve a new life.

Having just finished a U.K. tour with Phantom Limb, Bigbang are set to tour Scandinavia up until Christmas and will be coming to the United States in January. Dates include:
