Polar Bear Club announces 2010 tour

2009 has been an exciting year for Polar Bear Club with the release of their Bridge Nine Records debut Chasing Hamburg. This album saw a #14 debut on the New Artist Chart and was hailed as "instantly infectious" in a four-page spread in Alternative Press Magazine's October issue.

The band pounded the pavement all year long, out on the road with the likes of The Gaslight Anthem, Thrice, Four Year Strong, and on the B9 tour with label mates Strike Anywhere, Crime In Stereo, and Ruiner and are currently holding down the cover of the Winter Issue of AMP Magazine. It's been a big year for Polar Bear Club, to say the least.

2010 will be an even bigger and better year for the band, as they'll hit territories like Australia, the UK, Europe and the US, with more touring plans in the works.

Drummer Emmett Menke said, "Polar Bear Club played 150 shows last year and we're looking to top that in 2010. We'll be covering a lot of the globe and we have even more shows in the works that we can't announce quite yet. There's a good chance that wherever you're reading this from - we'll be there at some point."

Polar Bear Club recently announced their addition to the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey later this spring and additionally will be spending half of Summer out on the Vans Warped Tour. Check out all confirmed tour dates below.
