Adam's Forge in Pasadena offers broom making classes

Adam's Forge will be hosting 2 Broom Making Classes!!

Want to add that special touch to your hand forged fireplace set?
Discover the art of hand made brooms!!

1st Class: Hearth Broom---- Monday Sept 20th

2nd Class: Whiskbrooms 101---- Tuesday Sept 21st

Time for both classes is 6:00pm--9:30pm

Classes are Limited to 12
so reserve your space now!

Fee: $55/ all materials included
(Please bring a pair of scissors and a sharp knife or box cutter with you to class.)

Class Descriptions:

1st class: Hearth Broom:

Little John will guide you through this beautiful and functional creation with students learning to make one round or one flat hearth broom (your choice).
Handles of various woods have been gathered and cured for you to use, and all materials are provided.
Of course, you may bring a forged handle to use.
Discussion about decorative options will be included.

2nd class: Whiskbrooms 101- make 2 fun and functional brooms!

In this evening we will make a Fantail Whisk (also known as a Turkey Wing) and a Hawk Tail Whiskbroom.
All materials are ready for your use. The Broomcorn has been selected by size for these unique brooms.
You may bring a forged handle to tie it on.

This is a Great set of classes! and Little John is a wonderful teacher!
