blue13 dance company will return to The Edye Second Space at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center with a One Night Only performance of the company’s newest show, “Mash-Ups, Madness & Moodswings,” under the direction of Achinta S. McDaniel.
WHAT: This ain’t yo’ mama’s Bollywood! Get ready for what promises to be a mixed-up night of spectacular dance by blue13 dance company, the critically acclaimed Contemporary Bollywood dance ensemble. Director Achinta S. McDaniel and her notoriously irreverent ensemble will take theatergoers on an outrageous journey from their signature Bollywood-Tech, Neo-Kathak & Bhangra-Funk styles to classical Indian & modern dance.
