Joao Pires releases new video online

We're happy to announce that the webiste of Capeverdean singer/songwriter João Pires http://www.joaopires.us has new material:

The video with the interview and making of João's first song released in the U.S. "Hoji Sol" produced by Emiliano Almeida and recorded by Pablo Medina on keyboards & guitar, Emiliano Almeida on percussion and Patricia Krebs on background vocals.

The video of "Canta Nha Virgem Maria" recorded live on December, 2009 at Immanuel Presbyterian Church of Los Angeles, with Emiliano Almeida on percussion, arrangements & production; Brent Crayon on piano; Tim Zehnder on bass & background vocals; Elyse Marchant and the Immanuel Choir on background vocals; and Patricia Krebs on additional vocals & vocal arrangements.

The MP3s for these two songs are for sale on the website, as well as the music sheets which include chords, melody and lyrics. Plus, you can download a pdf with the lyrics of the songs + photos for free.
